I discovered this Sushi place about two months ago; It is a hidden gem. To get inside of it, yiu must go through Shah's since there is three restaurants on the building strip. Their Sushi is deliciously fresh and well prepared; the best part is their accesible prices . Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really solid and affordable sushi option near MGH. Stumbled upon this place while walking down Cambridge St. The restaurants that used to occupy this spot shut down not that long ago due to health code violations, and the previous sushi tenant was notoriously bad. Fortunately, the building owners completely revamped the space into a tiny, three-stall food court, and Yaba Sushi seemed like the best option of the three. We grabbed a couple of rolls, an eel bento box, some wings, and a teriyaki plate. For the price point, almost everything was pretty good. Some rolls were priced under $10, yet it was better than the grocery store sushi across the street. The fried chicken wings were juicy and golden, and they package everything in sleek, sturdy black paper boxes that make things feel like a premium omakase takeout experience. The teriyaki plate was the only thing we didn’t like. Despite being grilled-to-order, both the shrimp and the beef ended up feeling a bit rubbery and overcooked. Overall, it's still one of the best value sushi spots in the area. Might drop by occasionally to grab some rolls and wings. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
