Yama Cafe is a great stop prior to leaving for the Mt. Touadake hike. The owner is very helpful and speaks some English. He even called Sonbuto Sanso for us to confirm our reservation. They do not store bags overnight but will store your bags during the day. From Yama Cafe to the top of Mt. Touadake is about 3 hours.
