Was told to come 15 minutes early before our session. But once arrived, was told to wait outside. If there was a waiting section it would’ve been good. Food was delicious . However, they ran out of time and only served 5 sushi selections when clearly said they were offering 8 sushi selections as part of the dinner course. Service by the staff was perfect, they were extremely polite and friendly. Atmosphere was cosy and we were seated in a private area which was awesome. Everything was very nice, but not quite perfect enough to justify the price. I've had better otoro tuna and better Wagyu elsewhere in Melbourne. Things didn't quite melt in the mouth as much as i was hoping. The staff were all super lovely though, including the chef, and the atmosphere was great. A Serendipitous Dining ExperienceIn a spur-of-the-moment decision on where to dine, we stumbled upon Yakikami and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! With a simple phone call, we secured a table instantly, setting the stage for an evening of culinary bliss. From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance enveloped us, creating the perfect backdrop for our impromptu meal. The service was exceptionally welcoming, adding an extra layer of comfort to our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. We indulged in the Japanese Tuna, and it was an absolute revelation. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and the tuna practically melted in our mouths, leaving us craving for more.Overall, our experience exceeded all expectations. From the prompt seating to the impeccable service and, of course, the mouthwatering cuisine, it's safe to say that this gem deserves all the praise it gets. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend [Restaurant Name] to anyone in search of an unforgettable dining experience.
