I visited Yakiniku Like SM Santa Rosa on June 8 and was disappointed by the experience before we even had the chance to place an order. Upon arrival, a staff member asked how many were in our group. After we answered, another staff member approached and asked us the exact same question, despite both staff members being beside each other. It immediately gave the impression of poor communication and lack of attentiveness. What was even more frustrating was the seating arrangement. We were offered the solo dining seats, which are clearly designed for individual diners. Since we were dining as a group, we preferred a regular table where we could comfortably talk and enjoy the meal together. At the time, there were available couch seats and the restaurant was far from full, yet we were not allowed to sit there. We found this particularly disappointing because we were prepared to order quite a lot of food. The limited space at the solo grilling stations would not have been practical for the number of dishes we intended to order. Considering that there were vacant seats available, it felt like there was little effort to accommodate paying customers. As a result, we decided not to dine there and took our business elsewhere. It was unfortunate because we came ready to spend and were genuinely looking forward to the experience. Customer service begins long before the food arrives, and sadly, the service we encountered that day left a poor first impression. Good food is important, but so is customer service and basic hospitality. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Poor Service and Inattentive Staff My experience here yesterday (June 8 2026) around 6:00 PM was incredibly frustrating and left me walking away before even sitting down. When we arrived, we were approached by a staff member and asked how many were in our party (two). Despite the restaurant clearly having plenty of empty tables available, they acted as if they had to search for space. Shortly after, a second staff member approached and asked the exact same question, as if the first person hadn't communicated anything. To make matters worse, after their "search," they attempted to seat us at a single-person table, which would have been cramped and completely unnecessary given that the restaurant was not full. The lack of organization and the disregard for basic comfort were enough to convince us to leave immediately. I’m very disappointed with the service and won't be returning. Already ate here twice this week and it’s only Wednesday! Oh and we’re from Cavite too - the MOA branch would’ve been closer to us but my baby bro lives in the area near SM Sta Rosa and the service in this branch is top notch! This is my favorite branch actually! Servers are always friendly and professional. Thanks Mylene for the great service today, you made our early dinner experience fantastic! She was quick, and anticipated our needs with a positive demeanor and a smile! Thank you! We will be back soon for sure! Price per person: ₱500–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
