My girlfriend and I ate at Yakitori Old Rookie a couple of nights ago- we still remember our experience vividly. The service was excellent- the staff was helpful with any question we had (we’re American so we had many). The food was wonderful- the yakitori rice was the best thing I’ve had in my two week trip here in Japan. The ice cream and sweet potato dessert was another highlight! One note for any non-native speaker- the menu is entirely in Japanese so just be prepared to ask questions or use google translate to view the menu as we did. 5/5 without a doubt.
