The food is pretty standard. The lamb shank tasted good, but unfortunately, they use Indian basmati rice, which wasn't to our taste. They also offered a complimentary soup and salad; while I appreciated the gesture, they were quite bland. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It’s quite rare to find a Persian restaurant with Farahzad-quality food outside Iran but Yalda actually comes so close that it made me feel I’m back in Iran. We tried ‘Sabzi Polo with Shank’ and ‘Ghormeh Sabzi’. It was truly premium. The set-up, atmosphere and staff, simply at its best. And as for the price, it was absolutely reasonable. We paid semi-premium for a true premium food. If you’re in Muscat and after top-notch Persian food, Yalda can’t be missed. Thanks Yalda and please, keep it up.
