Real hidden gem! One of the best meals I had in Japan (and this says it all). It's not super easy to find if you can't read the japanese signs outside. Head down to the basement of the building.

研修で東京出張 高級店が並ぶ大通りを一本入ったビルの地下、良心的な値段で楽しめる日本料理でした。ランチもやってるらしく行きたかったがタイミングが合わずに東京を後に 僕は予約がなくても入れました。 I was in Tokyo for a training trip. Located in the basement of a building just off a main street lined with high-end restaurants, this restaurant served reasonably priced Japanese food. Apparently they serve lunch, too, and I wanted to go, but the timing didn't work out, so I had to leave Tokyo. I was able to get in without a reservation.
