Yashima

Yashima is a restaurant located on Matsubara in Setagaya, offering a tranquil setting for a dinner experience. Specializing in Japanese cuisine, it is known for serving authentic Sanuki udon, a style of udon from the Kagawa Prefecture. The atmosphere is described as calm and relaxed, making it a potential spot for unwinding after a long day.

Despite its focus on udon, Yashima also offers a taste of home-cooked dishes like "nuta" and "fuki," providing diversity in its menu. Although aimed at a slightly mature audience, it has suggestions that their food and service are satisfying to discerning patrons. Not much recent information or updates have been shared by the owners, leaving some details, such as operating hours, unclear.

The most recent visitor feedback was given over eight years ago, describing the dishes as well-composed and complementary. Customers have occasionally noted seeing familiar faces from the local area, adding a sense of community to the dining experience. However, it should be noted that student diners seem to be less frequent at this establishment, potentially hinting at its appeal to other demographics.
