Ye Olde Steak House is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Adequate prices are to be expected at this place. The cute decor and nice atmosphere let visitors feel relaxed here. As for the Google rating, this spot achieved 4.4.

Not impressed with atmosphere.. more a barbecue atmosphere than is expected of a Very Expensive restaurant. Very limited menu. Steak. That's it. Well, chicken sandwich. No bread, which killed it for me from the beginning. Vegetarian options: No. Dietary restrictions: No. Parking: Parking is Barely off a very busy street. Feels dangerous. Ye Olde Steak House has been our go-to restaurant for years when we are celebrating...Valentine's Day, birthdays, Mother's Day, or just whenever we are craving a great prime rib. I rarely stray from ordering my favorite meal there..prime rib, woodshed potatoes, and broccoli casserole. It's my family's favorite restaurant in Knoxville. The kids' menu is great as well. Always good service and great quality food. If you save room for any of their homemade desserts, the Italian cream cake is served warm and melt in your mouth delicious. Although I dislike writing negative reviews, I believe it is necessary to inform them about our recent visit considering the significant amount of money we spent compared to the quality of service we received. I typically view dining at places like this as a special occasion due to their high prices, and I have never had an issue with it until our visit on January 26, 2024. Our group consisted of around 20 people, spending approximately $1000 in total. Many of us ordered expensive cuts of meat like filet, ribeye, porterhouse, and prime rib, ranging from $37 to $47. Unfortunately, everyone at our table had to request sauce for their meat because it lacked any flavor whatsoever. Even though my steak was cooked perfectly, it was disappointing to find it tasteless. This fact alone should be embarrassing for an establishment of this caliber, considering the price we paid. The only reason I am giving them two stars is because the appetizers (fresh fried mushrooms) we ordered and the sides (sautéed mushrooms, woodshed potatoes, and side salads) were enjoyable. Additionally, the waitresses did a good job, especially considering the large size of our party. Overall, none of us will be returning to this restaurant due to the lack of flavor in the food. It's disheartening when you rarely have the opportunity to dine at "nice" restaurants, and when you finally do, you could have saved a significant amount of money by cooking at home. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed, and they have lost many customers as a result.
