Yes Burger Salcombe

Hi Oscar, thanks so much for taking the time review us. We really appreciate and we’re sorry you were left a little disappointed. While we respect your right to an opinion, we just need to state a few things for others reading these reviews. Our burgers are never, and have never been frozen. In fact we receive a fresh batch of burgers every single day from our wonderful supplier Coleman’s butcher’s right here in Salcombe. It comes at no small cost to us to ensure we have only the highest quality and freshest meat possible and it’s the cornerstone of our excellent reputation so far. Our meat is freshly ground and formed into patties daily and we use only top tier beef chuck with no additives or fillers. On the issue of oil, again, this is something we take exceptionally seriously. Not only do we never use old oil, but oil is changed practically daily especially in peak periods. For French Fries we’d love to make them ourselves daily and hopefully one day we will. For now we buy them in. We use industry leading Koffmannn Fries which are as good as they come. We also feel that for small independent burger bars like ours, this is actually very very common. That said, we fully appreciate your preferences here.
