Tried Ylang Ylang Eatery for early dinner with a friend. We ordered the karaage donburi and buta kakuni. Karaage was freshly cooked and crispy twas really good. Buta kakuni had solid flavor and the egg was on point, though I got more fat than meat on my cut lol. The talbos ng kamote that comes with the meal was a bit oily for me. I’m just used to it being steamed/boiled, so the fried/tempura-style wasn’t really my thing. Waited around 20 mins for the food, but chill lang.The space is nice, good vibes, and the staff were friendly. Heads up: cash or GCash only, no cards. Go early! some dishes sell out fast.
