No discount on take out food however if I would have queued up for 1 hour and 30 minutes and ate inside I would have got the discount. I think that is a stupid concept when the government initiative applies to carry out food. Slaps a dose of no common sense what’s so ever by Yo Sushi.
I was also overcharged for my food today and wasn’t given a receipt. I will be complaining.

Yo! Sushi are a growing chain of Japanese restaurants specializing in Japanese cuisine, and of course, it doesn't take a genius to know this is more of a sushi bar, as it literally says that in its' title "Yo Sushi" I decided to call in here, while shopping in Selfridges, which this store is located in, which is quite a large, high-end department store in the Trafford Centre and only one of 4 branches of Selfridges, all of which as I'm aware other than the Manchester Arndale branch do have a Yo Sushi in, so it is becoming a bit of a home for them. This place did look nice, and they seemed to add all the touches they can to personalize the space, while also considering the factor this is basically not a separate store, and is instead in a department store in a large mall. Firstly, I can't help but notice the location and feel they are doing the wrong thing by being located here, The Orient inside the Trafford Cente, houses probably over 100 fast food chains and restaurants, so positioning this away from there in a department store is quite unusual, as most people looking for a bite to eat, would head in that direction where chains such as GBK, Harry Ramsdens, Nando's and Pizza Express call home. I mainly just called here to pick up a drink, and saw that Yo Sushi had a nice range of there own fresh fruit juices, including some cool favors, which sounded unique and unusual, which I guess must be popular in Japan such as 100% Watermelon juice, this was quite pricey for a bottle, considering it was only small and not freshly squeezed at £3.40, but considering it was 100% watermelon and it is basically from an eating place, in a high-end department store, my concerns about the price are slightly eased, but they still remain there. The drink its-self was quite nice, however the service seemed a little poor, the server lacked conversation and seemed to have changed the price, I originally tried to give him £5.20 which he originally asked for for 3 drinks, which both my friend and I confirmed he said, only for him to have said £10.20, which created confusion. As mentioned above, it isn't the nicest places to eat simply because of its' location in a department store, so it is hard for Yo Sushi to personalize the space and make it there own, and it isn't in the right location one would go for a meal, and I feel they are missing a trick through being located here and they would be much busier in The Orient, due to reasons discussed above with price and service being key factors, I sadly feel the highest this branch deserves is just two stars.
