Right after seeing Lord Kira’s Residence, come here for a meal. You have a chance to degust good fried udon, tempura and tempura chicken. Very friendly shop with a retro atmosphere!! Also amazing tempura and filling udon! They also have 2 tables on tatami! Remember the udon will take a longer time to be served. Highly recommended for foreign tourists who are getting worned out by modern chain udon restaurants and want to feel a human, real, everyday food culture in Tokyo. The best udon I’ve ever had in my life! I came back home after my trip, but I still can’t stop thinking about that udon. The broth wasn’t too strong but had incredible depth and umami, and the noodles were perfectly chewy. The fried chicken I ordered with it was unbelievably good too crispy on the outside and tender inside. I ate about half of the udon as it was, then added some shichimi chili powder, and it tasted amazing both ways. Just a tip. the portions are huge, so if you have a normal appetite, order the small size! I don't know Japanese and got a bit confused when ordering, but the staff were so kind and helped me with everything. Thank you so much! The only regret is that I couldn’t try their cold udon before leaving Japan I’ll have to come back for it someday. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
