While researching various reviews, I learned about Yoichi's name and visited him from Kansai last week! We went with two people without a reservation, but we were first shown to the second floor...When we talked with the staff, we told them that we were coming from Kansai, and they asked if we could go to the counter on the first floor, so we moved! It was my first time in Kochi, so there were a lot of things I didn't know, but the wonderful manager and staff taught me about Tosa's delicious food and sake, and provided me with a lot of great service! (I can't thank you enough) Also, the bonito served here is not "frozen"! ! I couldn't hide my surprise at the deliciousness of bonito that I had never tasted before...it was thick and tasted like steak. I went home impressed by the flavor, which honestly brings out the goodness of the bonito material, rather than being fooled by the so-called straw-roasted aroma. I was also happy to be able to enjoy various combinations of garnishes such as Kochi's unique garlic, ginger, wasabi, salt, tomato, cucumber, and lemon. I ate bonito at the market, and even an amateur can tell the quality and difference! We also recommend the deep-fried clams! I was reluctant to try it until I tried it, but it was chewy and delicious! It's light and not smelly, and the shichimi and mayonnaise go well together Anyway, I understand why everyone recommends it! The cost performance is the best! I will definitely go to Kochi Toyoichi again! It was a feast! !
