I was in Maibara on a work trip in December 2025 and for a few weeks in April and May 2026, and I was so happy that I found this place. It's a local spot with a local feel which is great as there are not many options around the Maibara Station area. The food is fantastic, it's some of the best yakitori I've had in Japan, especially at a relatively cheap price point. I especially recommend the ume shiso skewers which I couldn't stop eating. The staff are all also very friendly and accommodating, which is just the cherry on top. I came to this place many times in my brief few weeks in Maibara, and it is for good reason. 5/5. Extremely good yakitori and they were very accommodating with my wheat allergy even managing to know not to serve barley rice. Really wholesome atmosphere and great service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
