Yojo Horumon in Kitami is well worth a visit. We stuck to the regular meat cuts rather than the offal, and everything was excellent: tender, well marbled and cooked perfectly at the table. Portions were generous and the quality was consistently high throughout the meal. Do book ahead, as this place is popular and fills up quickly. Staff were friendly and attentive despite the language barrier. Highly recommended for a proper yakiniku experience in Kitami. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000
