Yonutz — wow. From the moment you walk in, the energy hits you. The employees are genuinely excited to be there, and it’s contagious in the best way. The concept alone is worth the visit: a donut sliced open with ice cream packed right in the middle. You get to customize both, which makes it even better. I went with a sugar-coated donut and strawberry cheesecake ice cream, and it absolutely delivered fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. They also offer shakes (which I didn’t get to try this time), but the variety of flavors and combinations is impressive. It’s one of those places where you could come back multiple times and try something totally different each visit. The space itself adds to the experience, there’s indoor seating, and even claw machines, which is a fun touch whether you’re with friends or family. I won’t spoil everything, but there’s a little extra surprise in store if you show up in a local team attire. Let’s just say it’s worth it. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. The centennial location closed recently and I have really hesitated to drive the 25+ minutes to visit this location, but I will not hesitate again! My husband has a gluten allergy, and the owner of this location goes above and beyond to create safe and delicious donuts! He even made a little special creation after I asked about a possible Boston cream filled GF donut. I have nothing but great things to say about the owner and this location.
