Yoshiharu Ramen was a place my friend and I decided to try, especially since it’s relatively new. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. First, when we arrived a little after 1 PM, the restaurant was completely empty. For a popular lunch hour, this felt like a red flag. Second, and perhaps more significant, was the lack of authenticity—there were no Japanese staff in sight. While this doesn’t automatically mean the food is bad, it does make you question the overall authenticity of the experience. I ordered the beef dish, and while it wasn’t bad, it was completely unremarkable. The ramen, too, was average at best. Having tried ramen at several restaurants, particularly in the Philippines and, of course, Japan, I can confidently say there are far better options out there. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it’s likely to be our last. The food was passable, but it lacked the flavor or uniqueness that would make me want to come back.
