It’s my first time coming here but I wanted to get my kids a treat so decided to try yo-yo’s out. The banana crepe was crispy and delicious and I also got the biotico which I thought was okay only because I expected yogurt but forgot if your like me and not too familiar with Mexican treats that you’ll see the picture and think it’s one thing but realize it’s another after you get it. So that’s where I want to bring up the one of two issues. Menu is difficult to understand at first glance. It’s a lot of words and mixed with Spanish words and titles that make someone like me who isn’t a Latino to understand what’s what. I’d recommend updating the menu so it’s easier to understand. I also couldn’t get the grasp of what they had to offer because at one point you think your looking at something sweet but it’s more of a meal (non-treat item). So I would recommend doing something about the menu. The other thing I had an issue with was their counter set up. The side where you pick up your order looks like the side you’d place your order. So I was confused there, especially with the menu hanging on the wall like a TV you might miss where’s what. In regard to the service, I wasn’t greet at first but eventually was greeted in Spanish which is fine but two of the three employees couldn’t speak English which I don’t mind but you can tell they were freaking out because they couldn’t understand me and what I wanted which I wanted the banana crepe to be cut in half. I told them this upon ordering but eventually wasn’t understood and thus had the crispy banana crepe cut in half after which resulted in a huge mess in my car with my kids. So I have to recommend the management have employees call over the English speaking employees to assist with customers orders who don’t speak Spanish. All in all, I still believe this place deserves five stars. Experiences aren’t defined by a few hiccups, but by the overall impression they leave behind. And sometimes, offering encouragement instead of criticism is what helps a good business become a great one. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you so much for visiting us and for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We truly appreciate the 5-star rating and your encouraging words; it means a lot to a local business like ours in Cherryland. We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed the Banana Marquesita (our crispy crepe)! Regarding your feedback, we’d love to share some context to help your next visit—and that of other first-timers—be even smoother: Our Menu & Identity: As a traditional Mexican Botanería, we take pride in serving authentic treats. We keep the original Spanish names to honor the tradition of each dish, though we include detailed ingredient lists in English to help everyone decide. Our Bionico, for example, is traditionally served with our signature house-made sweet cream (crema dulce) rather than yogurt. We believe this is what makes our flavors unique! The Ordering Process: We apologize for any confusion at the counter. Our team was eager to assist you immediately, which is why they greeted you right away. Since our Marquesitas are made to order and are very delicate (think of them as a thin, crispy waffle cone), they are best enjoyed whole to maintain their structure. Cutting them once they are crispy can indeed cause them to crumble, which is likely what caused the mess—we’ll make sure to communicate this better next time! Service & Language: We are a family-oriented team, and while some of our staff are primarily Spanish speakers, we always have someone available to bridge the gap. We appreciate your patience as we coordinated to ensure your order was understood. We know that visiting with little ones can be a whirlwind, and we admire your dedication to getting them a special treat! We’re constantly working on improving our signage to make our "sweet vs. savory" sections even clearer for everyone in our community. We look forward to seeing you and your girls again soon for another round of authentic Mexican snacks!.

Yoyo's has become our favorite snack shop! The littles & I look forward to every visit & deciding which new treat we'll try. The staff is the friendliest. Personally, I feel like I'm back in my hometown when I go to Yoyo's. And that's such a sweet feeling. We love their aguas frescas! Their marquesitas are finger licking good. In December we tried their tamales & atoles. Couldn't decide which was our fave. If you haven't already go check them out! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you so much for the kind words! We love hearing that Yoyo’s feels like a trip back to your hometown—that’s exactly the feeling we want to share with our neighbors in Cherryland. It’s a treat for us to see you and 'the littles' exploring our menu every time you visit. We're glad you enjoyed the holiday tamales and atoles; we put a lot of heart into those seasonal traditions! Whether it’s an Agua Fresca or a Marquesita, we’re happy to be your go-to spot. Thanks for the recommendation, and we’ll see you and the family for your next treat soon!

I recently tried marquesitas for the first time and they were absolutely delicious. The texture was perfect—crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. The filling was sweet, rich, and balanced really well with the crunch of the crepe. You can tell they’re made fresh, and the flavor really stands out compared to other desserts. It’s one of those treats that’s simple but incredibly satisfying. If you’ve never tried marquesitas, I definitely recommend it.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We are thrilled to hear that your first encounter with a Marquesita was a success. Getting that perfect 'crunch' while keeping the inside warm and flavorful, and we're glad you noticed the freshness we put into every single one. They are definitely a staple of Mexican street food, and it makes us proud to bring that authentic taste right here to Cherryland. We truly appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you back soon to try another one of our traditional fillings!"
