I heard really good things about Yume o Katare. On the plus side, I loved the dream sharing. As a restaurant, it failed me completely. This restaurant has no condiments and no leftovers. The only options are adding more meat and some garlic. I must recommend both; the pork, bean sprouts, and broth are tasty. The rest is a big pile of ramen and limited green cabbage, neither given time to absorb any flavor at all. The broth is oversalted in an attempt to compensate for fine but plain noodles and cabbage. I have a high salt tolerance, but I still recognize this is not how to do seasoning. This is the most boring ramen I've had in any restaurant by far, in terms of ingredients. If the seasoning were well-balanced, that might be fine, but my experience and customer comments loudly indicate it is not. Yume Wo Katare seems to believe that allowing leftovers would result in an inferior experience and/or food waste. Sadly, neither part of that holds up. I intensely hate wasting food. Even being graded on my performance, I had no desire to finish this ramen as presented, and was hungry when I got home. I can prepare these leftover noodles (or other noodles) better at home. I rarely bother to leave reviews. I actually had a nice time waiting in line for over an hour. I just wish the experience inside had been better. Cool concept. Please listen to some feedback. :( Sorry, but leaving a restaurant hungry and sad about wasted food... is a bad dream. Something is wrong here.
