See, I don’t get complaints from foreign travelers and tourists about their being unfriendly. They were perfectly fine to me and I spoke 0.5% Korean and look the opposite of a Korean on the Asian spectrum. The atmosphere is that of a casual diner and completely represents bib gourmand branding. Anyway, their bibim-milmyeon is the single best dish I’ve had in Seoul, which actually had a lot of tasty bites. The way it’s supremely savory without being salty is mind blowing. I have a flight tomorrow at 1 and I’m strategizing how to sneak one more bowl before I leave. Don’t listen to those other reviews. A long-standing udon & soba spot with over 60 years of history. I visited because I was craving a rich, flavorful broth, and the Nabeyaki Udon did not disappoint. The soup was deep, and the ingredients—egg, fried tofu, fish cakes, mushrooms, and crown daisy—paired perfectly together. It’s very solo-traveler friendly with dedicated single seating. Note that you order and pay at the counter first before being seated. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area again!
