One of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had. Food was incredible, the dishes were a perfect blend of delicious, creative, and beautiful. Despite certainly being fine dining, it did not feel fussy at all. Very intimate setting with just a few seats in the house and the ability to see the entire kitchen. Wine pairing elevated the food and stood well on its own. Would absolutely come back and would encourage anyone visiting Taipei to come eat here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pleasantly surprised by this Latin-American fine dining restaurant hidden away in the quiet streets of Taipei. Locally sourced ingredients, paired with Latin-American's unique recipes - was how Chef Joaquin and his wife, Di-Harn Yeh, set themselves apart from other fine dining scenes in town. Each course left its distinctive note, yet every course was well balanced and well connected to form a delightful, memorable gourmet journey till the very end. There was no single favourite dish to highlight as every dish had to be there to make it the complete culinary experience : ) Service was sincere and warm to heart, very "Taiwanese" indeed and would very much hope to return soon again. Our first Michelin-starred experience at ZEA — and what a memorable one. The 12-course tasting menu was beautifully curated, blending Latin and Taiwanese flavors into something truly unique and unforgettable. Every dish felt thoughtful and perfectly executed. The service elevated the experience even more — the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about each course. Absolutely worth it if you’re in Taipei.
