If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We specifically checked their menu on Instagram before visiting, only to arrive and be told that several items - including the dumplings we came for were no longer available because the menu had changed. If you’ve updated your menu, the least you can do is update it online as well. It didn’t stop there. Another main course item we wanted to order was also unavailable, leaving us with very limited options. The food we finally ended up getting was extremely below average, and to make matters worse, our stomachs were hurting until the next morning after eating there. The experience at billing was equally disappointing. One of us had the Entertainer offer and another had the STC discount, both of which were still clearly listed as valid on their respective platforms until month end. Despite that, the restaurant refused to honor either offer. Overall, poor management, poor hospitality, misleading information online, and disappointing food. Zhu was a fantastic solo dining experience. The ambience was calm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. What really stood out was the service. my waitress, Thes, was exceptionally kind and welcoming. She made me feel completely at ease and took the time to walk me through the menu with confidence and care. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her warm energy made the experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!
