ZOI restaurant in Split is a can't-miss experience! With its stunning balcony views of the Diocletian Palace and the promenade, it is a truly unique setting. The service is outstanding and the waiters are extremely friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations and attending to all your needs. The food is exquisite, with a diverse menu offering meat, fish, and octopus dishes. The desserts are also delicious and the wine selection is top-notch. Prices may be on the higher side but the quality of the food and the experience make it worth it. Highly recommend ZOI for a romantic evening or special occasion.

Really outstanding evening. Beautiful terrace and setting. Really excellent service and sensational food. It’s a must visit!! We visited as a group, and did the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was uniqully made and tasty, and the service superb. Definitely recommended for an unforgettable Split fine dining experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The full tasting menu with wine pairing is how we designed this experience to be read — each course calibrated to what comes before and after, the wines chosen to open rather than accompany. A group of seven moving through that together is its own kind of thing. Thank you for giving it the time it asks for.

When we booked our reservation, we requested a view of the sea. When we arrived, we were given a table with a view of the parking lot and across from a loud nightclub. We were told we could not change tables even though it appeared as if there were nicer options available A similar situation happened with a couple that arrived after us, and they were given a better table with a view. The food was good, but the service was stiff and nonresponsive to our requests. . Twice we asked for bread, and we were basically told that it would come on their schedule. We have dined at many fine restaurants with excellent service and ZOI does not compare. We really felt as if we were in a tourist trap. My recommendation-DON'T GO! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The table you requested wasn't held or promised — that is consistent with how we approach seating across every reservation, not a reflection of priority given to anyone else. What we can acknowledge is that the city itself is part of the setting here: the Riva carries noise upward, particularly in summer, and that is the nature of a 2,000-year-old urban structure rather than something we can engineer away. The rigidity you encountered around bread service is a separate matter, and one worth reflecting on. We're sorry the evening landed as it did.
