The food was good but not that noteworthy or exceptional. The servings were enough, except for the panga which only had a little meat on it, although it tasted good. Most of the food is okay and worth the price. The staff were also friendly and accommodating, and the place was neat, clean, and accessible. Overall a very good place to dine in Samal. During our stay at Hamugaway Beach Resort and Spa in Samal, we decided to have a late lunch at Zagpa Grill and Restaurant, conveniently located within walking distance from the resort. Our experience at Zagpa was delightful and memorable. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. One standout moment was when a staff member noticed I was struggling with a sore throat and thoughtfully brought me a freshly squeezed hot lemon juice or tea. This kind gesture truly touched me and showcased their commitment to excellent customer service. The restaurant itself had a welcoming and relaxed ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The food was delicious, with a variety of options that satisfied our group. The quality and presentation of the dishes were impressive, making our meal enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend Zagpa Grill and Restaurant for anyone visiting the area. The combination of great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and outstanding service makes it a must-visit spot in Samal.
