We were walking around the market looking for a sashimi don, but most restaurants we found were around 4,000–8,000 yen. Luckily, we came across Zan Restaurant, which had a promotion and offered delicious sashimi don for only 2,000–4,000 yen. The restaurant has an English menu, and the staff speak English, which made ordering very easy. The seafood was fresh, generous, and very tasty. The restaurant was clean, and the toilets were also well maintained. I highly recommend adding the chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg custard) to your meal—it was smooth, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the fresh seafood.
