I ordered the hot and sour soup and it was a complete disappointment. It was bland, lacked the signature hot and sour flavors, and tasted more like plain yakhni. To make matters worse, there wasn't even any chicken in it. When I raised the issue, instead of acknowledging the complaint, the owner told me it takes 45 minutes to prepare a soup because Foodpanda riders are waiting. That's a poor excuse. If your kitchen is too busy to maintain quality, customers shouldn't be served substandard food. The owner also insisted that I simply have a "different palate." No, I don't. A hot and sour soup has a well-known flavor profile—it should be spicy, tangy, and properly seasoned. This wasn't a matter of personal preference; the soup simply wasn't prepared as it should have been. What's most disappointing is not just the food but the attitude. Rather than accepting constructive feedback or trying to resolve the issue, the owner chose to make excuses and dismiss a genuine complaint. Customer service starts with listening, not blaming the customer. I hope the relevant food regulatory authorities conduct a routine quality inspection to ensure consistent food quality and customer service standards. I recently got a chance to have dinner at the Zaviyaa restaurant in Lahore. I must say that the quality of the Chinese food was really good. I had tasted their delicious 19B soup, sticky chicken bbq wings, fresh fried rice, tasty sichuan chicken. Everything tasted amazing. The ambience was really cool too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: Rs 1,000–2,000 Parking space: Plenty of parking
