I ordered the lamb gyro and my husband ordered the shawarma (chicken) gyro. The Hummus and also cucumbers and taziki dip.
Upon walking in, we were greeted with smiling staff and hello's. We felt welcome and at ease in the cozy environment. We noticed that they had some cherished family recipes made into a cookbook! (which we purchased.)
If you are looking for a delicious Lebanese cuisine- Zeina's Cafe and Catering is the establishment to go to. The menu was easy to read and explained each dish. Our waiter was funny, friendly and very knowledgableabout the food and he was very efficient. Our meals came in a timely and accurate manner. As you can see from my pictures the food was made with love and it was an excellent 5 star dining experience!
The Zeina family spoke to us and we felt very at home. Sarkis Zeina even came to our table to talk with us about today's heart run.
They also carry Saranac beverages, promoting another local business. We look forward to going back soon to try other dishes!
Zeina's truly is "The Paris of Varick St."
