We found this place through a Google search, and it definitely did not disappoint. We visited with our two teenage boys, who can be a bit picky but also enjoy trying different kinds of food. The restaurant serves local Okinawan cuisine, with portions that were much more generous than at other local restaurants in the area. The prices were very reasonable as well. The highlights for us were the Yomitan salad, the fish carpaccio, and the Okinawan-style grilled chicken in soy sauce. A couple of things to note: every guest is required to order a drink, they only accept children over 3 years old, and it appears to be cash-only. Excellent experience at Zen in Okinawa! We went on a Sunday evening around 7:30 and they sat us promptly. Service was great and the food was wonderful. The Agu Pork was sweet and tender, and we loved the Fish carpaccio - it was so fresh and the flavour was great. We also enjoyed the Beni Imo tempura, Okinawa’s purple sweet potato and it was worth the order. The prices were reasonable for great quality, everything came to about 5700 Yen (including 2 beverages). Highly recommend!
