After a walk around The Lighthouse, many visitors stop by this pizzeria. If you're an Italian cuisine lover, come here. A lot of people point out that waiters offer tasty king prawns, pizza rustica and spaghetti carbonara here. Taste perfectly cooked gelato, chocolate cakes and tiramisu. According to the guests' opinions, waiters serve good prosecco. Many visitors think that you can try great latte, hot chocolate or chocolate frappe at Zizzi.
Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is said to be cute here. The professional service is a big plus of this place. Based on the reviewers' opinions, prices are attractive. This was our third trip to this Zizzi’s and the first time we’ve paid anything from our meal. Firstly there was no beer on draught so we ordered two bottles. Upon ordering our mains we received one correct main and one incorrect and cold. By the time it was corrected I had finished mine and my husband still hadn’t received his. When it was arrived my husband made sure it was taken off the bill which was absolutely fine with the staff member. While my food was fine, his was very bland and felt like “a classic chain restaurant meal” which he didn’t want to finish. We then ordered two cocktails which sounded and looked delicious by the picture presented on the menu. It was the tiramisu espresso martini. It didn’t come with the biscuit garnish and when asked about this the server looked puzzled as if it wasn’t usually served with part of what the cocktail was made up from. She returned explaining they did not have any of these but could offer a honeycomb alternative - something which would not have gone with the cocktail. The cocktail tasted like a poor, watered down coffee. Ky husband politely explained to a staff member that the cocktail wasn’t as expected to which he responded “yes I agree, the cocktails really needed sugar and had already been deducted from the bill”. I am giving two star review as although the experience was poor, all staff members (particularly what looked like two male managers) were extremely nice and very understanding. We left a tip based on the two men who looked after us and took the time to correct the issues we had. Unfortunately though, we won’t return as 3/3 trips to Zizzi’s has been unsuccessful. Friendly staff and our personal waitress Blanca was efficient, friendly and patient despite being very busy. Menu choice was good and the food itself was delicious and imaginatively prepared. There was no feeling of being rushed again despite it being busy. Would happily go back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
