Tried out this long standing restaurant located at Harbour Square, CCP Complex in Malate, Manila. After a hearty dinner at a restaurant nearby, we decided to try something else other than Starbucks for dessert. Zucchero Cafe does not look like an inviting Cafe from the out side and a quick look inside, they are due for a proper renovation. The place looked dark and unkept.

They have a display fridge for the Cakes they offer. We tried the following:
Chocolate Cake - moist, Chocolate cake with a thick Chocolate ganache center, topped with more Chocolate a Chocolate curl on top. It was not too sweet and the Chocolate taste was just right.
Dulce de leche cheesecake - thick, dense Cheesecake topped with diabetically deadly sweet dulce de leche. It was not extraordinary in taste. It tasted rather tired, and not fresh.
Mango Cheesecake - this one on the other hand was soft and smoothies. The Mango slices on top was also been in the fridge too long. Another not so moving item in the menu, i guess. The prices was upscale but the taste and Presentation was just Average.

Service was quick but no one was out front to welcome guests, no wonder why the place was barely filled. Would love to visit again.
