It's refreshing to have a filipino restaurant in Connecticut and it is a worthwhile 30 min drive for us. We ordered 16 trays total from Zul to be picked up at 10:30 (this is when they open) and they went above and beyond to make this large order happen. We ordered lumpiang shanghai, pancit canton, chicken bbq, pork bbq and pancit bihon. In addition we were expecting a few gluten free guests for our party. Zul doesn't normally offer gluten free versions of the above on their menu, but they experimented to come up with delicious versions of their chicken bbq, pork bbq and pancit bihon to accommodate us. Dipping sauces for the lumpia and bbq were also included. Everyone at the party enjoyed all the food-especially the chicken bbq. I'm particularly a fan of the pork bbq skewers. Would definitely recommend ordering from here for their catering needs. They are great to work with and the food is too. On another note, their bubble teas are pretty good too for this area.

I ordered for delivery and the last time food was very oily. I hope they lessen the oil and hopefully check if they include the dippings.

As a Filipino, I was excited to hear that a new Filipino food place was opening up in the area. My expectations were high, and my tummy was rumbling. Unfortunately, I think they were maybe just a little too high. The pork bbq was good, but the rest of the food (I forgot what I ordered) was average at best. It lacked that authentic Filipino taste that anyone who’s had such cuisine before would know. However, it’s good to fill a craving for the cuisine on a whim. Besides that, the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The place is also very clean and they are quick to fulfill your order. The boba’s some of the cheapest in the area too, which I’m very thankful for.
