No words... unbelievable... the guy who runs the place has so much personality! That alone made it worth the trip. Not to mention how incredible the food was!!!

Went to a show at Red Rocks with my sister yesterday and we decided to make a day of it and went to lunch in Denver. We decided on AikoPops because it was higher rated on yelp in the cheaper restaurants in Denver and it looked delicious. It turned out to be the perfect addition to one of the nicest days in my summer! The owner was friendly. One of the first things I did was spill my ice all over the counter. I was embarrassed but he was all like "that's all right we're a no rules place here. You can just kick it under the counter." Then my sister ordered the exact same thing as me, so he was all like "Well if you want the exact same thing you gotta have it the exact same way!" and dumped iced all over the counter. Hilarity ensued. We both got the Holy Cow, and it was really tasty but I thought it was a bit salty with the olives. They also made their own beverage! This time it was Mango Mojito (non-alcoholic) and came with free refills. My sister and I each got a popscicle as well and we both enjoyed ours! I got Cardamom Blueberry which was a win-win for me since I love both of things and they combined together well. My sister got Coconut Curry which she said was a 'a bit strange at first, but it it really grew on her." When I got my pop I dropped it because I grabbed the top of the wrapper; thinking the wrapper would be sealed He offered to give me another one but I was just all like "that's ok, I eat off the floor all the time." And I Just want to say that I'm not usually that clutzy and it was just this restaurant. Though I do very closely follow the 5-second rule. That being said Aikopops has an atmosphere perfect for normal people and casual neanderthals like myself. Now my only problem is that I need more excuses to drive up to Denver and eat more Aikopops.
