The sweets at Al Mamalak are genuinely good; however, my recent experience with one of the sales staff was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The salesman made a mistake with the “Happy Birthday” message on the cake and then completely refused to acknowledge or correct it. His response was rude and dismissive — “If you don’t like it, then don’t buy.” This attitude ruined what was meant to be a happy occasion. I escalated the matter to the manager, Hassan. While he did apologize for the employee’s behavior, but refused to disclose the name of the executive involved which was disappointing. Good products should be matched with basic customer respect. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better training and accountability going forward.
