What a great town, big surprise when you arrive by train, then walk out of station (won’t tell you why but you will love it), the whole town has something special about it. Only disappointment was the Castle visit, it was a modernised museum to me, I was expecting to see old architecture as you would expect to see in a Castle, ride up to see it was good. Here’s a rephrased version: My first Omakase Burger experience — and what an introduction it was. It took me a good 15 minutes just to find the entrance. The minimal signage does a surprisingly effective job of disguising this place from the street — part of the charm, perhaps. Every single element here is crafted with real intention: the bun, the patty, the temperature, the sizing — nothing is left to chance. And it’s not just the burger that impresses. The snacks and appetizers are among the best I’ve had, with seasonal fresh produce elevating the entire experience in a way that feels effortless. I’ll definitely be back — if I can manage to snag a reservation. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
