This cafe has a very welcoming local vibe and the team are genuinely friendly and personable. We visited around 3 times a week over the past 3 weeks for takeaway coffee and every time the coffee was perfect, some of the best in Melbourne. The space is beautiful, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and every time we visited it was busy, but wait times were reasonable. On each visit we watched the staff interact with guests and find small ways to go out of their way to make peoples’ day, it was refreshing to see and kept us coming back. On Saturday we finally stayed for breakfast and everything was delicious, the produce tasted fresh & high quality, service was quick & attentive. Shoutout to Mary who made our morning with her friendly personality and quick humour. We will definitely go out of our way to return to August cafe!
