This speakeasy is a must if you're in Minato City, Tokyo. A bartender for 15(!) years, the owner Yun isn't just a delightful host - he's also an excellent mixologist. Drinks are great, prices reasonable, and the atmosphere once you get inside is like stepping into another age. Loved it! Would come again. Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

bar Amalta is a hidden gem. Jun, the owner/mixologist designed each cocktail and the handwritten menu, featuring lots of different Amaros from all over Italy - map included in the menu! The drinks are exceptional and there’s something for everyone. Watching Jun prepare each order is a sight to behold, and the cigars available for purchase are fresh and quality. My husband and I had a great time on the 2 occasions we visited, trying several drinks each. There are delicious spirit-forward and delicious lighter options, something for everyone. We will be back - for the drinks, atmosphere, and wonderful conversation with the owner. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
