So glad we stumbled upon this place! The food at Ben was absolutely delicious. They keep it simple with only two choices for lunch—spaghetti bolognese and pan-seared chicken with rice—which allows them to focus on quality. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente with a rich sauce that had a great depth of flavor without being too heavy. The pan-seared chicken had crispy skin and flavorful meat, and it came with a very unique rice that had a texture and flavor that made it distinct. We also loved the smoked tuna with eggplant appetizer; it was unlike anything I’ve had before. The restaurant has a cool, modern setting with a counter and just two dining tables. It’s quite hidden, so we were really happy we found it! I’m already excited to come back and see what kind of new seasonal dishes the chef cooks up next.
