After standing at the counter for quite some time while a class was running, no one even came to the counter. Is the smoothie bar open during the hours posted? I would have loved to have tried your products. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Okay, this place is very hard to find. Once you find it, under a sign called the training loft, You descend down some stairs and they have a little cute smoothie bar inside of a little cute gym. Non-organic No yogurt No actual peanut butter or almond butter. They have a drizzle instead. Lots of protein powders available Not organic. Smoothie came out to $8.50 for what appears to be a 10 oz cup. All of that is relatively standard and I had pretty low expectations coming in. So yeah the smoothie's okay. Knowing that it's not organic and that it has peanut butter drizzle and no Greek yogurt it's hard to enjoy thoroughly but definitely decent. The girl was nice enough inside but when I asked her to use the restroom she uncomfortably informed me that ' we don't really have public restrooms". Which is quite the loaded statement. Pennsylvania and Lackawanna County law requires establishments that serve food and have seats available, which this place does, must have a place to wash hands and use the restroom Referring to a paying customer as the public on their first visit, at least this paying customer, is a perfect way to ensure they do not return. * Just because the PA health department visits does not mean that you are not required to provide a bathroom. More importantly, why would you refer to a paying customer as the public? Nice try Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Dee, we are very sorry to hear you had preconceived low expectations and did not enjoy your experience at blend'd. I would like to clarify a few things. - Our address is 513 South State Street, Village Square Plaza, Clarks Summit. There is a large outdoor banner hung on the front with our blend'd logo and a lighted "smoothies" sign. Our large front window is painted with colorful fruit. - We do not and have not ever claimed to be "organic". We do use fresh fruit and we do not add any processed ingredients. We make everything to order. - We absolutely have natural peanut butter and natural almond butter. We told you the peanut butter is in a squeeze bottle in order to drizzle. - We use high quality protein powder and have a vegan option. - Our smoothie cups are all 20 ounce cups and come with a dome lid so you are getting at least 20 ounces of product. - We do not include yogurt in our recipes. - We are regularly inspected by Lackawanna County and PA Health Department and we are not required to have a restroom for customers. We have one for employees only. I hope this clears up any misconceptions you may have had.

Blend’d at the Training Loft has the freshest and most delicious smoothies and bowls. Jackie and her staff go above and beyond to make your experience one that will make you come back for more! Everything is made to order and absolutely the best around. Do yourself a favor and stop in and treat yourself.. you won’t be sorry !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
