Very friendly welcome from the boss. You immediately feel welcome. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and everything was very clean. The 3-course meal fully met expectations. The beef fillet from the hot stone was of excellent quality. The salad was generous and beautifully presented. The house wine went well. Negatively, the pasta was unfortunately cold and the dishes were not preheated. But my partner's risotto was perfectly warm. It only has 2 designated parking spaces! So plan some time for the walk from the Olma Messehallen car park to the restaurant. Excellent pizzas from the wood-fired oven. Attentive, friendly and fast service, even on the second visit. The menu is varied and the prices are affordable. The restaurant is somewhat inconspicuously located on the Langgass, the ambience in the restaurant is harmoniously rustic, the tables are beautifully set. A visit to Cavallino is really recommended.
