Chawan on the 9th floor of Parco at the Sendai West Exit. You can choose between Japanese and Western food. Desserts using matcha are also popular. I went on a weekday afternoon and it was empty. You can choose from 3 types of rice, but it's a good idea that you can have a second helping of rice for free and change it to any of the 3 types. I thought the three side dishes would be small bowls, but they were really filling. Add one chestnut tiramisu for 4,700 yen for two people. It's expensive, but I'm very satisfied with the free refills. Of course, if you go to a cheap set meal restaurant, you'll probably be able to get full for less. If you want to eat Western or Japanese food right in front of the station, I think it's a good option. I was intrigued by the menu where you can make your own matcha.
