Unbelievably good value for money. Super tasty and very friendly service. Don't sleep on it when visiting Roubaix. Good vegetarian option as well.

Quite mixed. A fan of African food since those around me are, I came a little over a year ago it seems to me to eat there, and I was left with a very, very, very positive opinion. The waiter was super welcoming, we ate there like at home. I had a chicken yassa and my friend the Thiéb meatballs. Both dishes were excellent as well as the chicken curry pastels and those with tuna. I came back last week, this time for takeaway, and what a disappointment! I took a thieb dumplings since I had stayed on my friend's dish, which I had tasted, and which was succulent, well I regretted my choice. Dry meatballs, chasing each other, three to break everything. The dish was not spicy enough and surprisingly lacked flavor. As for the pastels, dry, sparsely filled and no taste, but really, we felt more the taste of the paste than of chicken or curry, which is a strong spice. Two culinary disappointments and a cold waitress. An advertisement on social networks concerning scratch cards and a 100% winning game which does not exist; since I didn't get one with my order. If these cards are up for grabs, that’s a shame. Chez Nene has lost flavor and it’s unfortunate because there was a time when I swore only by this African restaurant.
