Beet salad at cocon

In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Ryugen-ji Temple, stop by this restaurant. Nicely cooked kangaroo is good to taste. Here you can drink delicious wine.

The courteous staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at cocon. Enjoyable service is something that people note in their reviews. You will definitely like the spectacular atmosphere. This place is rated on Google 4.8 by its visitors.

The highlight of our Japan trip! We cannot rave enough about this dining experience. It is an excellent value and unforgettable experience. Every dish was spectacular but the kangaroo tartare surprisingly stole the show. The laid back and relaxed ambience made it perfect for those of us who are new to fine dining. Our only “complaint” is that portion sizes are fairly large (which is a good problem to have)! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Highly recommended! The restaurant itself is beautiful, an oasis in an unassuming building. Feels like you’re in someone’s (very stylish) kitchen. The food experience was one of the best we ever had. Very creative menu and beautiful, well balanced dishes with crossover methods and ingredients. Don’t miss this gem in Tokyo! (and make sure to check out the sakura by nearby Meguro river if you’re here during the cherry blossom season) Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cocon. Fine dining is an infrequent, special occasion thing for us that typically falls beyond our budget, so getting value for your money is very important to us. We felt that the value you get at Cocon was extraordinary. For 10 courses we were spoiled with thoughtful and delicious dishes, each prepared with exceptional attention and presentation. French techniques paired with a Japanese influence and ingredients make for a very unique experience, and the whole meal was very well balanced with both hearty and refreshing courses. The portion sizes were exceptionally generous and allow you to savor each dish. My favorite dishes were the duck main course, wagyu cheek, and the apple and strawberry dessert. To run a one-man show for three seatings of diners, all of whom were on different courses, while consistently churning out what I felt to be Michelin-star levels of flavor and finesse is truly impressive. This was such a treat for us, and was only augmented by the casual and relaxed atmosphere that makes you reel back and just enjoy the food without worrying about being in an overly fancy or formal atmosphere. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
