We were planning to go to the pizza place next door, but changed our minds and visited this restaurant because we wanted to have a sit down meal. This turned out to be a mistake. The two servers were far more concerned with flirting with each other than serving any of the tables in the restaurant. We eventually managed to order a charcuterie board and a sandwich. We were quickly brought the meat and cheese of the board (but no bread), as well as a beer — which we assumed was an apology for the slow service. We waited about ten minutes, assuming the bread and sandwich were right on the way, but they didn’t arrive. Eventually, we asked for the bread, and four small pieces were delivered. I had to walk up to the bar to remind them of the sandwich order — which, oddly, seemed to confuse the server. The sandwich eventually arrived. The food was fine, nothing special. Irregardless of the service, the food wouldn’t be worth returning for. Throughout this hour-long ordeal, the two servers were loudly making passes at each other behind the bar. We assume this distraction contributed to their confusion on our two-item order. When we went to pay, we were prompted to pay for our food, and the beer — the beer we didn’t order. We had to go through the server at the cash, then an apparent friend of hers who claimed she could speak English (she couldn’t), and then the second server, to rectify this. The first server begrudgingly took it off the bill. It was an entertaining visit, we’re glad to get a story out of it. But it is not somewhere we would send a friend. A wonderfull lunch bistro. The food was fresh, testy, various. There are a plenty of dishes for different age and taste. Also very good option for kids. The price is very affordable. Highly recommended Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
