We dined at Ecao after watching the Sumo tournament, last week. This year, it was held in Nagoya for the month of July, one of six events. While in Nagoya, we looked for a restaurant with western vibes and we found Ecao. Loved the atmosphere of a smaller place ran by a young Japanese couple open to offer italian food with a slight Japanese twist. My son had pasta with bolognese and I had pasta with olive oil and garlic. The warmth atmosphere made for a great dinner and the food was cooked to perfection.
