As a Chef, it's important to seek out other Chefs that inspire you. David Skinner is exactly that. Eculent was an experience the minute we walked through the door. The food and cocktails were a work of art. In my opinion they should charge more but for the time being I highly recommend getting in now before people catch on. Thank you for a fairytale evening of culinary fun, I'll definitely be back! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I went here last night and were completely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was incredible. It’s a smaller restaurant, but it’s designed in a way that still feels private and comfortable — we never felt like we were sitting on top of other guests, which made the experience feel really special. One of the coolest parts of the evening was that the chef personally delivered each course we ordered. That personal touch made the entire experience feel elevated and memorable. Every single dish we tried was outstanding. The “Pigs in a Cloud” was one of the most unique and creative things we’ve ever eaten — pork wrapped in seasoned cotton candy. It sounds wild, but it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the caviar with a spread on toast (I wish I could remember the exact name) and it was incredible. The lobster arrived served on a smoking clam shell, which was such a neat presentation and tasted just as amazing as it looked. The beef bolognese and steak tips both completely melted in your mouth. We also tried the BLT bites, which were another fun and creative dish that tasted fantastic. Even though the plates appear small, don’t be fooled — we left completely full. The drinks were just as impressive as the food. The bartender absolutely nailed it. I had a lemon drop martini, a s’mores martini, and a raspberry cheesecake martini, and every single one was delicious. My husband ordered the Duck Old Fashioned (which actually came with a piece of cooked duck!) and a Cherrywood Old Fashioned, and he said both were incredibly smooth and flavorful. Between the atmosphere, the creativity of the dishes, the personal touch from the chef, and the amazing drinks, this was truly one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
