Called in for drinks after dinner. The place was nearly fully booked out with reservations. As we were only walk in, we were seated by the bar. It was an excellent position to watch the bar staff at work and crowd surf. It was also close to the CR. The crowd is on the younger side, but they all looked like they were having fun. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Worthing calling in for a look. Come earlier if you don't like crowds.
It was a Monday night (nearing midnight) when three of former waiters picked me up at home. Since they were flying for work the following day, they 'demanded' to see me. So, I took them to En Route Distillery since a quarter of Quezon City was already in bed and only a few establishments were still doing business.
Music was blaring, most of the customers were half-drunk and already loud, servers were rude and/or bored at the same time and the muscled bouncers were almost half asleep. One of the bored servers bought our orders of Nachos, Chicken Wings, Fries and bottles of really cold beer.
None of the food served were cooked right but hey, this is not a restaurant, I told myself. I stopped nibbling after sampling all.
To me: Nobody does serious eating in bars, just serious drinking.
