Don’t forget to bring your cash to this place! This may be the biggest culinary experience I’ve ever had visiting Japan. You don’t expect rice to be anything else than it already is, although they have made this special fermented sticky, perfectly seasoned rice together with a plate of minced meat - so simple, yet very delicious! The place is run by an elderly couple who are the cutest people- they really put an effort into making you feel warm and welcomed. I highly recommend this place! This was the best food I have had in Japan! The husband and wife are the sweetest and kindest people and made me feel so welcome. The food tasted amazing, I got the grilled pork with enzyme rice. It was so flavourful! I came here alone and the atmosphere was very calming. It felt nice to eat good after so many konbini snacks! This made my trip a lot better!
