Visited Cafe Ephemera on a weekend getaway from Tokyo, and I’m so glad I did! Tucked away on a charming hillside overlooking Yugawara, this restaurant feels like discovering a hidden gem. The retro-chic atmosphere instantly transported me far from city stress. I loved the welcoming vibe created by Chef Tominaga’s thoughtful touches—antiques and cozy lighting—and the menu matched the relaxed elegance of the space. The pizza was fresh and flavorful, and the steak-garlic rice was a delicious surprise. It’s clear that care and authenticity go into each dish here. Definitely worth the trip from Tokyo.
