First Spud is a unique culinary spot located on Prince Muhammad Ebn Saad Street in Riyadh. Despite its presence, it isn't comprehensively listed in popular restaurant directories and holds only a minimal profile on Google. Visitors can enjoy a variety of service options including no-contact delivery, standard delivery, takeout, drive-through, and dine-in. The restaurant offers a casual and trendy atmosphere, making it a cozy choice for both group gatherings and solo dining experiences.
First Spud is particularly known for serving halal food and small plates, with its loaded potatoes frequently mentioned as a highlight by visitors. However, opinions on the quality and variety of toppings seem mixed, with some praising them while others suggest improvements. The restaurant operates daily from 7:30 PM to 2:00 AM, an unusual schedule that might appeal to night diners. It accepts credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments, and provides the convenience of free street parking and parking lot options.
While the feedback suggests a warm interaction with the owner and commendable portions, there's a call from some customers for more diverse topping choices. Given this mix of reviews and the lack of recent information from management, potential diners may wish to visit and form their own opinion. This could be an intriguing option for those looking to explore outside their regular dining haunts, although caution in expectations might be advised.

Stumbled across this place by chance whilst looking for something else and it was an excellent stumbling lol First of all, these guys aren't, to my knowledge, in a fixed location because when I went a couple weeks back, they were near Diriyah and now recently, they were in a different area. Both spots they chose were quiet, peaceful and had a lot of free parking available. They have a limited menu with 5 different options of 'spud' available. We went with the 'Signature' & the 'Cheese and Beans'. Both of these were absolutely fantastic. After ordering and waiting for around 6-7 minutes, the food came out piping hot (was still hot when we got home 15 minutes later). The portion size was quite good, the taste was exceptional (I know its only a potato LOL) but the fillings are what make it, and the fillings here were on-point. The prices were also quite reasonable for a filling, comfort meal Overall I would definitely recommend this place and I'd advise you try the 'Signature' Spud - fantastic. Next time, I'm looking to try a different filling. 10/10 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SAR 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
